Experian
Experian is another credit institution that is recognized globally. They too, have several with offices in and around the world. They have branches in Europe and the Asia Pacific. They created Consumer Info, the subsidiary that provides the free credit report to consumers. Consumer Info is founded in 1995 and to date, it has delivered close to 8 million reports already.
TransUnion
Just like the other two credit bureaus, TransUnion is operating worldwide. They are a big company who employs 4000 people in all their centers combined. They are built in 1968 and since then, they had transformed into a wholly owned and independent credit bureau.
Personal credit reports can be requested from either one of these companies. But remember, free personal credit reports are given out one for each year only. If you need more than one copy in a year, a minimal amount must be paid to get it.
